On 2 February the winner of ZIMA StartUp 2020 took place. This year’s winner is SegmentStream, a marketing data intelligence platform. Svetlana London as a member of the judging panel revealed that the judges were guided by the market demand, the business model, uniqueness as well as further development prospects of each project. The experts also prised Stroodles, a start-up offering biodegradable pasta straws seeking to solve the problem of single-use plastics.

On 2 February 4pm GMT the final of the ZIMA StartUp contest will take place. The judging panel, including Svetlana London, will sum up the results of the contest and announce the winner. On 4th November, Women Who Inspire with support of CIS London & Partners held a business meeting for female entrepreneurs ‘What Is the New Reality?’. The club members came together to discuss the challenges and opportunities for business during the pandemic.

On 3 June Svetlana London took part in an online discussion on the importance of creating a single online database for Russian endowments. In her speech Svetlana focused on the international experience of endowment rankings and integrated databases. The discussion was organised by the Istoki endowment fund and Blagosfera foundation. Over 80 participants attended the online debate.

Svetlana London gave a talk on the lessons to be learned from the crisis and how to plan for the future.
