We opened in London in 2007 and have since established our presence as a firm specialising in Russian law.

Over the past few years, as our business has grown, we have needed to access a broader range of legal expertise in Russia, Kazakhstan and other CIS jurisdictions.

This has resulted in our forming strong relationships with a number of handpicked lawyers across the region, who we believe are best able to work with us in offering our clients high quality, independent, local support and advice.

Our expansion has resulted in a rebranding into CIS LONDON & PARTNERS which took place in September 2014.

With our head office in London we have a unique opportunity to hand-pick Russian & CIS qualified lawyers.

Our London team works closely with colleagues based in Moscow, comprising a network of some 20 lawyers and tax advisers.

Our reach extends beyond Russia to Kazakhstan and more generally to other CIS countries.

CIS LONDON's Kazakh practice is led from London by qualified Russian-Kazakh lawyers with extensive experience of working on cross border projects in Astana, Moscow and London.
