On 27 September, ZIMA CLUB together with CIS LONDON and The Department for International Trade of the British Embassy in Moscow hosted an online seminar on How to Penetrate the British Market: Opportunities, Risks, Practices.
Addressing the meeting, Svetlana London, Managing Partner of CIS LONDON, spoke about the characteristics of the English corporate law, nuances of the tax system and laws that benefit both the investors and start-ups. On 16 July, Svetlana London, Managing Partner of CIS London, and Daria Dergunova, founder of U DIG Project, delivered presentations on sustainable consumption as part of the meeting held by Women Who Inspire, a network for women in business.
In her speech Svetlana focused on sustainability of the services sector and shared her thoughts on implementing sustainability principles on a day-to-day basis.

The Law Society of England and Wales in collaboration with the Bar Council ran an online English Law Day in Ekaterinburg. Svetlana London participated in Session Four on the legal aspects for private clients in which the panellists discussed tax, immigration and asset protection. Svetlana provided a brief overview of cross border issues for private clients moving to the UK and relocating their families.
On 3 March 2021 Svetlana London delivered a presentation on running a legal services business in London at the Russian Business Week online forum. The conference is organised annually by the Russian Business & Culture Society of London School of Economics Students' Union.
On 2 February the winner of ZIMA StartUp 2020 took place. This year’s winner is SegmentStream, a marketing data intelligence platform. Svetlana London as a member of the judging panel revealed that the judges were guided by the market demand, the business model, uniqueness as well as further development prospects of each project. The experts also prised Stroodles, a start-up offering biodegradable pasta straws seeking to solve the problem of single-use plastics.
