Press Release
8 September 2014
We are pleased to announce that we have re-branded from MGAP UK and going forward we will be known as CIS London and Partners LLP.
Driven by a growth in business, and client requirements, the firm over the past few years has been working with a broader range of legal experts across Russia, Kazakhstan and other CIS jurisdictions.
On 9 July 2014 we ran a workshop for lawyers from Ukraine and Azerbaijan on practical aspects of shareholders agreements and specifics of the dispute resolution in the UK.
Our managing partner Svetlana London and senior associate Elena Ivanova covered particular areas and discussed challenges that lawyers from the CIS may encounter while working on cross-border transactions governed by English law. We have shared our practical experience of working with English lawyers on various issues including provision of experts reports to English courts and use of due diligence findings while preparing transactional documents.
