Gulmira is a dual qualified lawyer in Kazakhstan with over sixteen years of professional legal experience, advising on a range of Kazakh legal issues.
Gulmira has experience advising on legal matters relating to operations of Shell, Agip, Lloyd's Register and JGC Corporation for Kashagan and Atyrau Refinery Reconstruction projects and ensuring risk mitigation. She assisted in various cases with an international element in Kazakhstan.

Gulmira graduated as a Kazakh qualified lawyer from Buketov Karaganda State University in 1998. She has subsequently obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Linguistics, English in 2002.
Gulmira has been active in gaining additional industry training which included an Internal QMS Auditor Training Course in 2008, then a training course DNV Safety in Oil and Gas: Technical Regulations, Standards and Management Systems in Kazakhstan in 2010 and a University College London law teaching course in 2011.
